Second Floor - East Wall

The entire second floor will be home to the Adult/Teen Department in the renovated library. The new computer lab is to the right in the photo.

First Floor - North Wall

The north half of the main floor will be the home of the Children's Department in the renovated library.

Natural Lighting - one week later

Progress continues as some of the exterior wall on the north side has been removed to accomodate the flow of natural light in the library after the renovation.

Natural Lighting

Window openings are being cut to allow natural light to filter in from all directions. This photo was taken on Mulberry Street on the north side of the library building.

Taking Shape

This photo shows metal studs framing administrative offices that will be located in the lower level of the renovated library.

This captures the old "Main Entrance" on Union Street that has now been sealed off. The stairway visble to the left will be removed once the new stairway is installed connecting all three levels.
